| Corrosion of reinforcing
steel in concrete is a problem of serious concern from the standpoint
of both safety and economy. CONCORR Inc. was established with
a goal of providing the best technical solutions to problems
associated with deteriorating concrete structures of all types.
We always focus on first identifying the cause of the problem
to ensure long lasting and cost effective solutions. Such a
philosophy has resulted in satisfied clients who request our
services again and again.
CONCORR Inc. has evaluated over 100 reinforced concrete structures
including bridges, parking garages, buildings (residential,
commercial, industrial, and historical), schools, hospitals,
auditoriums, and aquariums. Our projects involve corrosion
of conventional reinforcing steel, prestressing tendons, and
post-tensioned cables and ducts. CONCORR Inc. has recommende d,
designed and prepared construction documents for both electrochemical
and non-electrochemical corrosion protection systems. These
include cathodic protection, waterproofing membranes, sealers,
overlays, specialty concretes, and corrosion inhibitors.
Some of the unique structures for which we have developed
recommendations include: the historic Venetian Causeway in
Florida which consists of twelve bridges; the White House
parking garage in Washington, D.C.; the historic Jefferson
Street Bridge over the Monongahela River in West Virginia;
the South Hampton Kingston Plantation in South Carolina; and
U.S. Interest Sections/Embassies abroad.
